✅ Our commitment: We want you to be genuinely satisfied with StarFlow. If the service doesn't work as described, we will make it right. We offer a 7-day refund window for new annual subscriptions — no lengthy arguments, no runaround.

1. Our Refund Philosophy

We believe in honest, straightforward business. We don't want your money if you're not happy with what we've built. At the same time, we're a small team and need clear boundaries to operate sustainably.

This policy outlines exactly when refunds are available, when they are not, and how to claim them quickly.

2. Free Trial

All new accounts begin with a free trial period before any payment is required. We strongly encourage you to test all features during this trial before subscribing.

This allows you to verify that:

  • Your Google Business Profile link works correctly with our redirect system
  • The QR code and feedback flow works for your business type
  • The dashboard meets your reporting needs

No payment is captured during the trial. You only get charged when you choose to subscribe.

3. Eligible Refund Scenarios

You may request a full refund within 7 days of your subscription start date in the following situations:

✅ Eligible for Refund
  • Technical failure preventing core features from working
  • Service not functioning as described on our website
  • Duplicate charge or billing error
  • Request within 7 days of first payment with minimal usage
  • Service outage lasting more than 48 consecutive hours
❌ Not Eligible for Refund
  • Change of mind after active use of the platform
  • Request after 7 days from subscription date
  • Account suspended for Terms of Service violation
  • Dissatisfaction with Google's review count (outside our control)
  • Failure to set up or use the service

⏱️ Important: The 7-day refund window begins from the date of first payment, not from the date you activate your QR code. Please contact us promptly if you experience any issues.

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios

The following situations are explicitly not eligible for refunds:

  • Post-7-day cancellations: If you cancel after the 7-day window, you will retain access until the end of your annual period but will not receive a refund.
  • Partial month/period refunds: We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused time within a subscription period.
  • Google-related outcomes: We cannot guarantee specific improvements to your Google rating. Outcomes depend on your customer volume, business type, and Google's own systems.
  • Policy violations: Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service — including fake review generation — are not eligible for any refund.
  • Third-party costs: Printing costs, setup costs, or costs from third-party services you use alongside StarFlow are not our responsibility.

5. How to Request a Refund

Requesting a refund is simple. Follow these steps:

Email us within 7 days

Send an email to info@gayuma.in with subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Business Name]"

Include your details

Mention your registered email address, payment transaction ID or invoice number, and a brief reason for the refund request.

We review within 2 business days

Our team will review your request and confirm eligibility. If approved, we will initiate the refund to your original payment method.

Refund credited

Once initiated, refunds are credited within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or payment method.

6. Refund Processing Time

Once your refund is approved and initiated by us, the timeline for funds to appear in your account depends on your payment method:

  • UPI: 1–3 business days
  • Credit / Debit Card: 5–10 business days
  • Net Banking: 3–7 business days
  • Wallets (Paytm, etc.): 1–3 business days

If you do not receive the refund within 10 business days of approval, please contact your bank and then reach out to us with your refund reference number.

7. Plan Upgrades & Downgrades

Upgrading: If you upgrade your plan mid-year, you will be charged the pro-rated difference for the remaining subscription period. No refund is issued for the lower-tier plan.

Downgrading: Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal date. No refund is issued for the difference in the current period.

Plan changes can be managed from your account dashboard or by contacting our support team.

8. GST on Refunds

Gayuma StarFlow charges GST (Goods & Services Tax) as applicable under Indian tax law. When a refund is processed, the GST component is also refunded along with the base subscription amount.

A revised GST invoice or credit note will be issued to your registered email address upon refund completion, as required by Indian GST regulations.
